Production: The peel of the ripe fruit is removed and then dried and cut. It is believed that the sweet orange originates in China and now is cultivated in virtually every country across the globe with most of the current production coming from Florida, California, and parts of the Mediterranean.
Common Use: Orange peel adds a lovely tart sweetness to tea blends. It blends well with green and black teas, goji berry, rose hips, chamomile and hibiscus. It can also be powdered to add to cold drinks or used in cosmetics, household cleaners, or in jams, jellies, or stir-fries.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark location in a sealed container.
